Clean and nicely furnished!
My husband and I and teen son along with 3 in-laws stayed at Manzanita House while in town for a family wedding. This is a very comfortable home in a peaceful setting. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and easy to work with. They were attentive to making sure we had all that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The House is clean and nicely furnished with plenty of seating and comfortable towels and bedding. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in an “away from it all” type setting. We would definitely consider renting here again.

Highly recommended for family re-unions
Our family of 12 just recently stayed in the Oak House and had a great time. We all enjoyed the outdoor games of corn-hole, bocci ball and horseshoes. The pool table inside was also used quite a bit by the younger adults. We only wish we could have stayed longer than the 3 nights to really explore the area more.

VERY spacious and comfortable!
We had such a great time at 7 Oaks Ranch Oak house. VERY spacious, well appointed and comfortable . We had small shildren with us and they were endlessly entertained by small toads, various bugs, turkeys and deer. We even had a turkey pecking at the glass door as if to be let in????. It truly felt like our home for 4 nights and the Reaume’s were attentive but unobtrusive. The fire ring was a real hit our last night…… we would love to go back!

The property was ideal for our group. It was even spacious enough to accommodate four of our adult children who had to work remotely part of the time. The outdoor space was lovely. We would have enjoyed it more if not for the heatwave.

Wonderful property!
We rented this property for our family to celebrate our daughters graduation. It was beautiful and the house had everything we needed. It was so relaxing and the house was so spacious. We enjoyed the pool table and the corn hole outside. We also loved the fire pit and had S’mores one night. We didn’t want to leave! Rosie was so nice and helpful. We definitely want to go back in the future!

Perfect get-away. Everyone should experience Great Oaks
We have stayed at the Great Oaks house several times. We are four retirees that are friends and band mates since high school. The billiard room turns into a studio for music and recording during a 3 or 4 night stay. The bedrooms are comfy, the amenities plentiful, and the atmosphere a world away from the busy city. It is a real treat to be playing a Byrds song, look out, and see deer, turkeys, chipmunks, and quail all before getting to the solo. The dining room has a very long table that easily seats a dozen and is at an equally long window with a beautiful view of the ranch, the oak trees, windmill, and barn. Although it is dry season, it is nonetheless a beautiful painting especially during the golden hour.

Fantastic property
We loved our stay at the ranch. The house is spacious and very well equipped with everything you might need, from kitchen appliances to games. The area is great although there was no water in the lake, sadly. We had many great hikes and enjoyed the view tremendously. Gloria and Rosie were great making sure we have everything we need. The pool table was a lovely addition and we loved being able to see so many stars in the night sky. Our dog had a blast! SLO, Santa Margarita Lake, and the beaches are close by and make for fun outings.

I have rented from VRBO for years and this is the first home that has been 100% better than any previous stays and many of them were great. The house and location were perfect. The oak table in the dining area was beautiful and had seating for all of us. You could play pool, basketball or bocce, throw horseshoes or darts. Relax on three different patios. Hike a trial up into the foothills or drive the giraffe cart up. Easy to get to SLO, the beaches or Paso Robles. And the stars at night were so bright and clear. Can’t wait to return.

Room to sprawl
The Great Oak House at Seven Oaks Ranch lived up to its name. With plenty of bedrooms and several common areas with comfortable seating, there was room for our large group of friends to spread out when we wanted alone or quiet reading time, but also come together when we wanted to enjoy each other’s company. We do a group trip every year, and the kitchen of the Great Oak House was one of the best-equipped we’ve seen (Personally, I respect any place that has both an electric tea kettle AND a stovetop one!). The pool table was a particular hit. Greg was very accommodating to our needs, and the caretaker, Rosie, was delightful. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Great Oak House for any large group of family or friends looking for a place to enjoy each other’s company without living in each other’s pockets.

Great experience!
House was perfect for our family. 3 couples and various adult kids visiting Santa margarita for a wedding. The indoor & outdoor spaces are perfect for quality time together. Great kitchen and loved the big dining area for games and meals together. Would highly recommend.

Kumar Family Getaway
We stayed at The Great Oak House for the Memorial Day weekend. This is an outstanding property. We loved everything about this property – large home, plenty of parking spaces, lots of places to sit and gather, super large dining table, lots of outdoor games, pool table, fire pit, bbq, walking trails and more. We will definitely be back someday.

Nice, large country house
Well managed and taken care house on a sprawling ranch property. House very comfortable and had everything we needed for our weekend visit. The grounds were well suited for relaxation and fun. Lots of birds and other animals make the surrounding area their home.

Four generations family getaway
We are four generations of fun, loud, energetic people ages almost 2 to almost 80 who thoroughly enjoy vacations together. Because of Covid we had to put our plans on hold but found this property and hoped for the best that by the time our dates came we would be able to see each other again. It was perfect timing and the perfect location! Since most of us are still in the Santa Barbara area of Carpinteria and the rest of us in Santa Cruz, this being halfway between made it especially awesome! The beautiful property, the clean, giant house, the incredible games available from cornhole, horseshoe pit, bocce ball court to indoor pool table was exactly what we all love! We enjoyed every bit of our vacation and ending our nights around the firepit under the stars was spectacular! Rosie took great care of us and Greg and Gloria took time out of their busy schedules to help us enjoy “Shotgun Hill”! We would only change one thing, making our next vacation there longer!!! Thanks for the memories!

Wonderful Family Weekend
We had a wonderful long weekend at Seven Oaks with family. The house is a great place to stay. Although we drove to Paso Robles for wine tasting, we really could have just stayed on the property and would be content.

My wedding day
The house was amazing, the host Rosie was so nice and very explanatory about the adventures and all out fun you can have staying in this home. It’s something we very much wanna come back and experience again (Traveling from Central valley?) Don’t listen to Google maps, stay the course on the freeway. Especially if you have lil ones in the car that get car sick (whindy roads.)

Both the property owner and care-taker were prompt with communications and made us feel welcomed. Enjoyed our stay.

Lovely getaway
The house is well appointed – kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and internet was good enough for distance learning and working from home. We came to relax and get away, and loved how peaceful the property was. We enjoyed seeing all of the wild life, making smores in the fire pit and exploring the trails. The property manager Rosie was so friendly and wonderful.

Great stay! Beautiful and remote!
We really enjoyed our stay at Seven Oaks. The house had more than enough space and the surrounding ranch property was beautiful. There was so much room for our kids and dogs to run around – they all were exhausted at the end of each day! We also really enjoyed the fact that we didn’t need to drive anywhere. We literally just stepped out of the home and could go on a hike. The only issue with the property was low water pressure, which they only discovered right before we arrived. But the Property Manager Rosie was super helpful and had it fixed within a few hours. We would love to come back!

Perfectly peaceful
We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas and being together as a family. The house has so many fun activities and just walking around the property was a treat. I suggest bringing most of your food because the grocery store is not close. There were a couple cute restaurants but we never ate out because of the pandemic. I am looking forward to returning!

An amazing getaway!
We absolutely loved this ranch. It was a perfect getaway that had the benefits of being outdoors, with the comfort of a great warm home. The great outdoors are calling your name the second you step foot outside this house; we loved the firepit and hiking trails. And the home was clean and spacious. We’ll be back!

Peaceful and serene
The property was perfect for quite getaway. We were close to town, yet far enough away. We were able to see quail and wild turkeys. We loved it!!

Ranch Retreat
Seven Oaks is a spacious ranch house with multiple seating areas outside and in. There are plenty of activities for all with outside games and walks, inside pool room and tv, though no one turned on the tv while we were there. Too much other fun stuff to do. Our family gathering of 6 adults was wonderful! Thank you to Greg and Gloria! Would definitely love to go again.

Total Relaxation
Staying here was a great experience. The property manager called me around 1pm to let me know the location was all ready to go and we were welcome to arrive at any time. we arrived to an clean and open home that was as advertised. The views are amazing and the location is quiet. We had a great experience and recommend the ranch to all. Thanks for the great stay!

15 year Slumber Party
We decided to have our 15 years slumber party and it was an amazing place, there were 8 of us and there was plenty of room. Greg and his wife were there when we needed them, and Rosie was sweetheart was there when we needed them! Thank for the GREAT house!!

Wonderful Stay
The house is beautiful. Plenty of space for adults and kids game. Property Manager stopped by the 2nd night to check in on us and see if we need anything else. Location is perfect halfway drive for our family coming from LA and SFO. Closed to Pismo & SLO for a day trip by the beach for kayaking. Thank you Greg & Rosie. We will definitely come back.

Our second stay here was as wonderful as the first!
We stayed here five years ago for my wife’s birthday, so we thought we’d return to do it all again! The house is spacious, comfortable and the perfect spot to get away for a few days. All communications with the owner were easy, helpful and pleasant. We love that this place covers all the bases we could’ve needed for 3 nights away from home (with kiddos this time), and it’s great to know there’s A/C if you need it. The highest praise we could give is that each time we’ve stayed here, we’ve talked (while still on the trip) about the next time we would be coming to stay at Seven Oaks Ranch.
